Let's review everything you can expect from the testing center environment to tips on how to prepare for the Exam.
Registering:
To take the Exam, you must first register through NCEES.
Once registered with MYNCEES, you will need to sign up and choose a Testing Center and review the type of Exam you want to take. Be sure to check with your state board for additional steps that may be required. You can also download the FE Handbook after you are registered. Review each exam format carefully to decide if you want to take your specific discipline (Civil, Mechanical, etc) or the Other Disciplines Exam.

Exam Day:
Be sure that you know the address of the testing center and make sure you don't have to pay for parking. You don't want to be caught off guard at the last second. We recommend getting there an hour early before your scheduled exam time.
Please remember to bring your License, NCEES paperwork, and your approved calculator. The exam center will make you lock up everything else. They will also take your picture for safety protocol so be prepared. You should bring a bottle of water and a small snack.
